PROFILE

Born in Tokyo in 1964.
While a student at Yokohama Broadcasting Film School (now the Japan Academy of Moving Images), he worked as an apprentice in the production department on “Minna Agechau” (85' directed by Shusuke Kaneko), and later worked as a freelance production department member on “Jane Inamura” (89' directed by Keisuke Kuwata), “Tenkawa Densetsu Satsujin Jiken ” (90' directed by (directed by Kon Ichikawa Kon in 1990), “Summer Garden” (directed by Shinji Somai in 1993), and “Ai no Shinsekai” (directed by Banmei Takahashi in 1994).

He has also participated in the production of numerous other films and dramas.
He participated as a line producer in “Kakuto” (02' directed by Yusuke Iseya) and “Snake Strawberry” (02' directed by Miwa Nishikawa), both produced by Hirokazu Kore-eda, and has participated in all films produced in Japan since “Nobody Knows” by Kore-eda.
