PROFILE

Born in 1981 in Kyoto, Japan.
After graduating from Doshisha University, studied filmmaking in the United States.
After returning to Japan, he began working as a freelance assistant director in 2006, studying under directors Takashi Koizumi, Yasuo Furuhata, and Hirokazu Koreeda.
He has also worked on the TV dramas “You are my Destiny” (2020) and "Soredemo Ai wo Chikaimasuka? (2022).
