PROFILE

Born in Kyoto in 1990.
Graduated from Kyoto University of Art and Design (now Kyoto University of the Arts), Department of Film and New Media, and Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Film and New Media.
In 2016, after participating in the film “After the Storm” as an art assistant, she joined Bunbuku.
She worked as an assistant director of Hirokazu Kore-eda and participated in “The Third Murder” in 2017 and “Shoplifters” in 2018.
In 2020, she directed her first short film “Someone”. The film won the Japan Premiere Award at the 15th Sapporo International Short Film Festival.
